Growing up in a family in the diamond and gem trade, David understood early on that the beauty of a diamond was heavily dependent on the way it was cut. At Columbia University, David’s intense study of chemistry, mathematics, physics, optics and quantum mechanics greatly enhanced his understanding of the physical requirements needed to achieve an ideal brilliant cut diamond. He understood that the beauty of all diamonds can be improved. Solasfera was born as a result of David’s life’s passion for giving the world its most brilliant and beautiful diamonds to date.
